Let's start off with some bigger events. Xavier no longer lives with us. He has gone off on his own to be an adult, which is good for him and good for us. We deeply care for Xavier and want the best for him. Having him with us was good, but after awhile it felt like having another child that wasn't our child.
This week we went to the Romano's Macaroni Grill. Probably the most expensive family dinner date I've ever had to pay for. But Rebekah and I needed this. We both had a tough week at work and needed to get out of the house and spend sometime together as a family. I didn't want Rebekah to cook and I wanted her to enjoy something tasty. I had never been so it was a new experience for me. Veronica got mac and cheese, Bekah got Fisichiti Alfredo and I got the spiciest sausage pizza I've ever eaten in my life. It was delicious, but each bite was painful. What was the tab? $38 drawing on the table was fun, but that's probably the last time we're going there this year.
The Ambriz family appreciate the arts in fact I visited the BYU Museum this week to get my mind off of all the things that were going on. I got to enjoy the We Might Be Heroes exhibit and saw things like this.
And this.
Bekah did some arts and crafts with Veronica and made this which could definitely go in a museum.
I have to say though the biggest highlight of the week was seeing our little Veronica say the 1st Article of Faith all by herself. Rebekah had made a study guide for her and practiced with her on Saturday and Sunday morning. She's such a good mommy and our little girl is so smart. I'm a proud Papa!
