4th of July Weekend: Dance Battles, BBQ's and Longboarding

For the 4th of July Anthony and I were invited to my friend Ashley's to have a BBQ. We had a delicious meal, watermelon, hot dogs, chips, salad, and a game of Monopoly. After a couple hours we long boarded to a University Avenue and watched b-e-a-utiful firework show while spending time w/ our new friends.

The following day we were finally able to sleep in with no work in the morning and a great day to look forward too. In the afternoon Anthony and I went to our Tae Kwon Do Studio and quickly came up with a routine for the festival that day. We did great! Anthony also was able to do a weapons/breakdancing show. Along with a fantastic sparing fight with one of the other masters and a lil' dragon self defense demonstration. Here are some videos! ;o)





This week I was also able to go with Anthony to work at BYU Broadcasting. It was way cool. He edits and ingests the tapes for the shows that are about to go to television. He is such a hard worker. I have such a wonderful husband!

My wife is amazing! She turned 19! As a Birthday Surprise we formed a dance team called Nameless Bums (Ashley has all the pictures) We battled another dance team and we had a great time! Rebekah learned a bunch of new dance moves in just 3 days and did great. Everyone was very impressed by her. We didn't win, but we'll be back to battle another day. This coming week we will be back at Dance Battle Wednesday to see the competition. We also had a post 4th of July Bash up at the Canyon here are some pics from it.


We went longboarding with our new friends Jorge and Stephanie and also made a short commercial which we'll put up later. After longboarding and movie making we told ghost stories. It was a fun filled week. Some of us got older, some of us got scarred, and some of us became movie stars.
